Long before Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (aka Scorpion King) there was the original Rock – Simon Peter. How he get the name?  The story goes that Simon (his originally name) was running a fishing business when his brother brought a guy call Jesus to him. Its kind of weird, but Jesus decided to give Simon a new name – Peter (which means rock). Peter became Jesus’ disciple and has been following him for the past 3 years.

Not been sleeping well. What Jesus been telling us lately is troubling me . He told us that he must die !! And his explanation isn’t all too helpful either: “.. unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” I can figure out, the single seed probably refers to him, but what is he trying to say?

And how can he talk about dying when a few days back we got a red carpet welcome form the crowd when we just arrive into the city, people are  treating him as a king or a movie star. And all those miracles he performed – its absolutely mind blowing.

Now he starts to talk about dying … people are starting to turn away . One moment we are king of the hills, the next moment we are losers .. its sucks to be on the losing team.

Jesus must has a real good reason for all these talks. Maybe tomorrow, I will know the answer ….
